From my early days to where I am now as a sales professional, my story is a blend of challenges and triumphs that has shaped who I am. Start with WHY
In case you’ve not heard about “Start with Why” before, it is a concept introduced by Simon Sinek in his book of the same name. The idea is that successful individuals, leaders and organizations think, act, and communicate in a specific way, which he visualizes as a circle with three layers:
Why (Core Belief): This is the innermost circle and represents the purpose, cause, or belief that drives an organization. It answers the question: "Why do you do what you do?" Sinek argues that people don't buy what you do; they buy why you do it.
How (Process): The second layer represents how an organization fulfills its "Why." It includes the processes or values that set the company apart from others.
What (Outcome): The outermost circle is what the organization does—its products, services, and features.
Most companies start with "What," move to "How," and might eventually talk about "Why." Sinek's idea is that the most inspiring organizations start with "Why," leading with their purpose, which resonates more deeply with people.
Why:
This website was born from my journey—a path that took me from the warm embrace of hospitality sales to the fast-paced world of tech sales, all while navigating the challenges of immigrating to a new country. I know firsthand the struggles of starting over, the uncertainty of change, and the courage it takes to rebuild. My "why" is to offer a space where others facing similar challenges can find not just advice, but understanding and support. I want to create a community where we can uplift each other, share our stories, and remind ourselves that we're not alone in our journeys.
